How do i change that in the buildsettings.ini

i messed up big time so i have no ship to start with lol

Please help can you give me the code for the Lugger and the Manowar

I need to Lugger code the most thats the original starting ship and i messed it up lol

You can change England to France, Portugal, Spain, or Holland if you want.
Spain has better ships in the game than england.

im not exactly sure how it measures in the game but in real life the French almost always had supirior ships, just never really enough or seasoned crew to man them.

Maybe a suggestion to the mod team if anyone reads this,

Since the French in the game really have no "unique" ship to be known for, (Spanish Galleon, English Battleship and `Man-O`-War, Dutch sloop and schooner), maybe give them some well equipped "Line Ship" and "Warship" class boats, more than the usual, since these are newer models and could reflect on the historical fact of French having good ships.

though the best ship in the game is the manowar guber, which has no nation - {return "Manowar_gub"; }

i think spanish ships are bigger and therefore slower, so better for trading (think of them spanish bullion fleets <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> ), but british ships are lighter and more manoeuvrable, so better for fighting.

in the (modded) game, every ship (well, nearly every ship) is available in an english, spanish, french, dutch and portuguese 'version', each with the same number of cannons but slightly different stats. so you can indeed get french ships... you don't know which 'nationality' your ship is before you buy it, but you do get to see the varying stats - that could fairly easily be changed though (little flags on the shipyard screen maybe? ooh cool idea, i might just get onto that <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> ). i dunno how the french ships compare to the others statistically - have a look in PROGRAMShipsships_init.c to see all the ship types and stats.
 
oh also i reckon the `man-of`-war is quite a french thing, really. think of ships like l'orient (i think that was the massive french flagship that was blown up in the mediterranean and apparently the glow was visible from alexandria)? i dunno what the french would have called them - i doubt it was simply '`homme-de`-guerre' lol <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />
 
Great! I'd love to see different stats and looks to each type of ship depending on it's nationality, that would be swell!!!!
