Strange Build 12 Behaviour/Crash

Hi,

I recently installed Build 12 over a German language version of a rather stable normal PotC.

Now each time i load a game i can walk around, although most of the keys are screwed up, e.g. if i press walk forward i walk back etc.

I can walk in the town but as soon as i change to port the game crashes with an error in engine.exe

If i start a new game i simply get a black screen.

After you installed B12, did you, when you went back into your game, reinitialize by hitting the "I" key?

Also, you need to reset your keyboard mappings to default from your F1 menu - SETTINGS. You can then remap them if you have them set to something else, but they need to be reset to default before you continue.

As you can see I'm new here.

I finished this game once months ago, and I thought to finish this great game again, so I've started a new game today, but I've seen here about b12, and I've placed it, but I have the same problems as harryhoho, about the keys... yes, defaults, and remap, it works, but if I press "I" to reininitialize.... always crash with an error on engine.exe, either on the menu as the game loads, or after loading the saved game, always the same, so I cannot reinitialize, and if not, as soon as I travel to the port... again error, could you help me?? thx in advance.
