I don't know if this fits here or if it should be in the GOF tread so if you guys wan't to move it its fine by me.
Just wanted to leave some suggestions, some of things you already have in game.
Books - great idea, only thing is the player needs to carry them and in time they get heavy, is there a possability of geting the benefits but to leave the books on the ships chest or some other arrangement?
Deck view - in some ships/models the starting deck view is on the lower deck, in a fight one as to move, to get a better commanding view, to the upper decks. Is there a possibility to change this as to always start when in deck view from the upper most deck?
Hideouts - in some parts of islands there's perfect places for small base like hideouts, kind of like, treasure island. These could be made to be small bases, personified/claimed by the character player, have a small living space for ship crew, where small repairs could be made or hiding coin or gold, or simply leaving weapons and personal belongings in a safe place. Could this concept be created in game, more for a free captain/pirate character, one who dosn't desire to have a colony, just an hideout?
