Hi all, 1st post here. Congrats to all u guys for this nice forums, this game rly need more info about, and i couldnt find nowhere but here.
Sum questions 4 u guys:
1. How i become BASTARD again? Ive letter of markee and ALL enemies become "friends" now... i cant even atack a pirate ship <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> . Im french (ingame) and need advise about.
2. Theres a place where can i get a english .PDF game manual? I dont get one and rly apreciate if any can sendme (or say where) one.
3. If no manual available could u guys gimme some directions about char creatin and basics of game (nations differences, bonuses/penalties...)
Thx any help here guys.

Je ne suis pas Français, mais je vais essayer de répondre à vos questions autant que je peux.

Premièrement, si vous attaqué sois des bateaux, ou des forts, ou si tu fais la contrebande et tu est découvert par ce nation (la contrebande se fait en vendre les ingrédients marqué en rouge), c'est considéré come une offense contre ce nation (ou le nation qui vous avais découvert en faisant la contrebande). Quand tu fais offense à un des nations, vos relations avec ce nation diminue jusqu'au temps que tu a le relation de "Bastard".

Deuxièmement, Tu peut attaquer un bateau ou fort que vous êtes en bonne rapport avec. Fais ca par aller dans le première personne (par pesant sur TAB). Maintenant - tu vois qu'il y a un ... uh.... crosshair (un X qui sers à visée)? Bon - vise ton ennemie, et pèse sur le bouton Space pour tirer sur eux. Cela commencera un attaque, et vous pourriez les border etc.

Troisièmement, il n'y a pas de differences entre les nations que tu peut choisir au commencement du jeux sauf que vox alliés, et vos ennemies seront dictée par le nation que tu as choisis. Par Exemple, disons que l'angleterre est Allié avec la France, mai ennemie avec L'Espagne. Bon - alors si vous avez choisis Angleterre, Vous seriez en bonne relations avec la France, mais en Mauvaise relation avec L'Espagne. Hors de cela, les choses illègales dans le Carraibe entière sont choisis <randomly>, avec les imports, et exports de chaque ville.

J'espère que je vous ait aider - merci pour me donner l'opportunité de pratiquer mon Français pour la première fois depuis l'école secondaire!

im brazilian, so french and porthuguese come from same origin latin, but i need say that i couldnt get many of your text <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Oh my god - I'm so sorry!

basically what I said was that you become bastard with nations by either attacking their ships, ports/forts, or doing smuggling trades when that country is the one to catch you doing it. You can attack an enemy even if they are labelled as friends. Just go into 1st person on the deck by pushing tab, and then use the space bar to fire at the enemy, even if they have a green crosshair. This will show them as being an enemy, and a fight will ensue.

Also, there really isn't any kind of starting bounuses or penalties depending on your nation of choice. The only thing affected is your allies/enemies, which will be that of the country that you are serving. Also, every time you start a new game, the import/export list, and the 5 contraband items found in the game (illegal to sell anywhere) are chosen randomly by the computer.
