SuperMod - regular game start

Seems that the SuperMod changes the game "Engine"

Has anybody tried running the game from the changed engine?
Note - will look to you like you are trying to run the regular game, but
it does not load the StarFart Crap.

In short, does the modified game from the old start shortcut run the old game
or does it run the SuperMod or does it . . .


anyway fun and games to contemplate.

SuperMOD has the 1.41 NoCD as part of the package. Cyberops stated that regularly. Just wondering if you guys are saying its different even from that executable.

well running the game from the black SuperMod icon is how I usually do it,
but Skull pointed out that you can run the SuperMod from the green Akella Icon.

So this is exactly the question.

Black -> obviously 1.42 Supermod
Green -> what is it?
a ) 1.42 Supermod, read the start up
b ) 1.41 non-supermod, but reads like 1.42
c ) something else

It'll read as the same supermod. You only need to use the black supermod icon if you want to change the in-game music to one of the other choices.

The only things he pulled from 1.42 update were actual fixes from Akella, and there were precious few of those from what Cyberops said.

It's a modified engine with some minor fixes and tweaks, im working on modifying it some more to get rid of some of the old sea dogs code that corrupts some of the newer codes made for AOP.
