I got this effect when looking back after the time automatically changed from day to night in Build 12. I forget what island it was though, I've got a feeling it was Redmond or Oxbay.

Well, but at least, with build 12 daytime does change. In build 11 you could sail with timeboost set to 30, leaving the game running for hours and it wouldn´t change.
