swap ships in a convoy

Ciao, sailors !

I managed to capture a frigate with my barque and made it my captain's ship ofcourse. When I get into a battle I can choose which ship I will use as my captain's ship. If I choose the barque and I loose the battle, will I remain with the frigate ? And how do I sell the barque without losing the frigate ?
TIA !

If you lose a sea battle, the only ship you lose is the one you were using at the time (so if you lose when using the barque, you'll just lose the barque but keep all other ships). If you do lose you can usually chase down the pirates or whomever you lost to and try again (there is a small time delay where it doesn't automatically go back into battle, but stay on them and it will come up eventually). You'll find they will actually be using the ship they took from you (unless they sunk it or they already had 4 ships to start with).

As far as selling the ships is concerned, when you go to a shipyard, one of the buttons (I can't remember which one now) allows you to sell ships. Once you've pressed that button, just use the arrow buttons they provide you to cycle through your ships and sell the ones you don't want. It always puts your most powerful ship first, so make sure you don't press sell right away.

Not exactly, it doesn't matter about the list order, when you enter a sea battle and you click on a ship to use, that's the ship you will lose if you lose the battle.

Same manual, just more practice (and hopefully a reliable memory). <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blah:" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
