Tenochtitian quest

I'm doing the Tenochtitlan quest and I'm suppose to find 2 totems, I was Abel to find one but the other one on the outskirts of portobello I cannot find and in the Preparations for a walkthrough post it says go to portobello outskirts go left twice and look around, well you cannot go lest twice only once then strait ahead I've done that and cannot find it.

Go to the outskirts of Portobello. Go left twice. In <b>this</b> area, look near the hills untill you manage to stumble across the "pick up" symbol.

turned out I was looking in the wrong place. near panama and not portobello

Where is the 1st totem - please?

Peter Blood is running dizzy at the area before Tenochtitlan lake:
- small hill
- larger ground at one corner
- along the path at the rocksides

- nowhere to be fouind....

yeah im really impressed by yall who finished this quest with ease. this totem hunting business is not really my kind of thing. the guide in the prep walkthrough page is not really helping me either. when montezuma mentions that the first totem is "closer than you think", and second "by the grass", is he pointing out the locations in that PARTICULAR area before the burning bridge? If not, I really want to carry montezuma to the bridge for free lunch

i spent 2 hours looking for the, at the time, hated totem.

Finally I applied the same as to the when finding the keys. I prefer to use the ladder ..
