The NEW Black Pearl

SEARCH! For crying out loud, if you have it, please search for it! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piratesing.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shock" border="0" alt="piratesing.gif" />

Only joking, though it would be nice if you found it. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

I called an authorized dealer for Maya today to see if it is possible to buy through them, and that's not even an option. Autodesk will only let them sell back to version 6. Plus, if you do find a copy of it privately, you have to pay a couple hundred dollar license transfer fee to put it on a new machine. It appears this program is worth its weight in gold. (At least to PotC modders) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Believe me, I've been looking everywhere. I know I've got the damned thing, but must have stored it away when I got updates. Didn't think I'd ever need it again.

Now is one of those times I'm glad I'm such a pack-rat though. **grins**

That shouldnt be a problem. iirc, the weight of an empty and harddisk, and the weight of the same harddisk full of data is about the same.
so the weight of the program and the gold should be around zero <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

or lets take it one step further:
if you would INSIST, on transporting the code carved in stone, you would get negative weight ... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

now sorry for spamming
