Question: What does setting the difficulty level actually do? I'm guessing it makes duelling AI tougher and raises the morale on NPC ships? Anything else?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
It makes duelling tougher by giving certain randomly generated enemy NPCs more HP, and better swords.

I believe that in sea battles, enemy captains/crew have better sailing, gunnery and ship defense skills.

Lost within the pages? Not sure I follow. But if I do recopy it to a different format I'll manually rebold it. For now let's just set things out in this thread. What we've got here already is probably enough to really help out the next clueless newbie. Making it all purty and creating a new document, well, that comes after we collect what we're looking for in this thread.

You can make a thread index linking to the most notable posts in the thread, Morgan. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Hi all,

Don`t forget the:

- "Dodge" key while weapon drawn, it`s Z and is REALLY useful.

Discovered it by accident, although I looked for it systematically a few times not without frustration.

Regards, Oldtimer

Yeah; we shouldn't forget that one. Even though I always do. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
