I am playing the main quest, and just after Ive been to "visit" govenor Silehart in his bedroom and after that escaped Greenford, i meet this surprise storm, and end up on douwesen, i knew this to be a part of the plot, but then when i move around its all in slow motion, and when i get to the tavern it is closed... so I cant really continue with anything, I have no ship, and no money... does anyone have any ideas? I have reinitializing, but to no avail

Run to the smugglers Inn, talk to the captain in the inn, kill him (he sits at the left). A pirate walks in and tells you that you're the captain now.
