    Hey guys,

is there a way to tweak the chances for floating goods at sea? Or is it possible to disable it entirely? Because as it is, it happens far too often. To the point that “fishing for cargo” will allow the player to get his hands on lots of goods for free. Minus the piracy.

It also is cause for frequent interruptions, when compressing time at sea.

You aren't required to pick it up, right?

There is probably a spot in the code to disable it.
But I wouldn't know exactly where.
Probably somewhere in the SEA_AI folder.

    BUT I CAN'T RESIST! :keith:rumgone

Of course, I don't have to. And I typically don't. Which is why I find it a bit tedious. Nothing major, though.

I don't have my game files installed at the moment (haven't done for a while), so I can only give my earlier suggestion from memory.
There is definitely a way and if you find the correct spot, it is probably easily done too.
