"Unread Notifications" that won't go away...

Does anyone know how to get rid of the "Unread Notifications" box on the right side of the forum? Mine won't go away even after clicking every notification. No big deal, but it seems a little weird. Or have I missed something obvious, and there's a way to turn that off? :

Took me a while to figure this one out too mate, go to the pulldown menu, choose my settings, and click on the "Your Notifications" tab. Select them all and either mark them as read, or delete them, or both!

I found out how to get rid of them while changing the forum skin. IP.Board has a little box in the upper right corner that turns into a drop-down menu letting you do just that - I selected all and marked 'em as read, then changed back to the OldSchoolV2 skin. Silly forum. :
