upgrade from alpha 6 to alpha 9?

I currently have build 14 alpha 6, thinking about upgrading to alpha 9. but i know it's a big download and i dont have very fast internet here, so i was just wondering if it would really be worth it. Was there a lot of new content added between 6 and 9?

Absolutely. Alpha 9 is currently the most complete and bug free version of the mod and is quickly getting better as updated code is released.

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks there will be another update for it incorporating all the new code that Hook, Piratekk, Bartolomeu and others have added.

Alpha 9 is certainly very good. There's some weirdness in there and some occasionally crashes and freezes, but so did Alpha 6.
The new content more than makes up for it and it's proven fairly playable for me so far.
Unfortunately there is no Light version you could install on top of Alpha 6, so you'll have to download the whole thing. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
