I think the our site may be infected with a virus. Every time I go to the site or navigate on it, I get a warining and I am downloading a version of trojan download.

This site, is most definately the existing site, or carrier for a viscious malware file with the extension called ".wmf" I have spent since last night trying frantically to get rid of it. I have been going from one update, to a fix, and back again non stop, and have even installed another program called "Spy Sherriff" which in itself is a Malware infection. This originates on the Pirates Ahoy website and then spread to the forums as well. I do not know if I should even attempt to continue to come here bacause of the automatical download that starts "every" time you try to navigate froim one thread to another....It is insane to say the least. It downloads from somewhere called "http://traffcool.com" and places a picture with the name "xpladv542{1}.wmf", and once you get rid of that it comes up with a whole bunch of Explorer User prompts, that you have to cancel or agree to to get rid of these....try to manuever again through the forums, and it continues to repeat this much lenghtier process than it takes time to type out here, every time.

Hopefully the powers that be are rtrying to find the causes and everything will be back to normal in a while....

I know that Microsoft and others are aware of this new threat and have made new updates /fixes, but my understanding that as long as this file exists or stays on the website, it will continue to download everytime someone uses any part of them. If anyone can help by suggesting anything useful, I will try to come back later.....Words as to what I would do to this person that evented this are beyond comprehension, but I can't help but believe it seems to be linked to someone wanting us to buy their products to get rid of something they obviously designed

The forum seems to have been fixed. The main site, however, is still infected, so DON'T GO THERE!
