Hello lads,

I picked up the game just after Christmas. After playing for a couple days I download and installed the version 2 of the Combined over the weekend. That lack of freeboard was the first thing I noticed about the mod. My sloop, when fully loaded, sails with her deck just above the water. I believe when loaded the ships main whale should be just partially submerged at the ships waist. I will give the new ships_init.c file a shot. Another Idea may be limiting the load each ship can carry.
