Weapon Reloading Question

Every time I enter & leave a building or go through a gate my weapon starts to reload again, although it was already loaded.

What do I change to fix this annoyance ?

I'm using the b14_alpha6_update.

I think there's a fix for that one in Alpha 7 or one of the other later versions, but I'm not sure what. I don't really want to do too much work on the Alpha 6 Update, truth be told.
