The Cuttlass- a sword with a sharp blade that was commonly used by pirates and sailors.

The Dagger- A small blade used for stabbing at close range.

Rapier- A long sword with a sharp point at the top, used by high ranking naval captains.

Flintlock Pistol- only fires one shot of lead ball and takes quite a while to reload.

The Musket- used for shooting at long range to pick off crewmembers.

Grenado Shells- used to stun enemies while preparing for a boarding.

Cannon- used to broadside enemies into a surrender.

Mortar- A heavy weapon that caused devasting damage to enemies and forts and was used by Bomb Ketches.

Boarding Axe- Used to climb up the enemy vessel and as a effective weapon.

I ran across this video the other day, I have been trying to find a good place to post it, I think this thread will do nicely! This is a very rare example that was originally manufactured starting in 1680.

Thanks Thaggar, the video is good for this thread- I knew there are double barrel pistols, but who knew a flintlock that fires 7 shots- existed? Guess that why he says they're extremely rare.
