What Gives? Another Map with no X

I am a little disappointed in this one. I had rescued all 4 family members, taken out all 9 pirates and found their treasures. I was a Duke for the nations of England, France, and the Dutch--and was a Baron for the Spainish. I had found one hidden city (Inca), but then I was on to the Aztec hidden city and this was the map I received (see below). I believe that this was all done on Adventurer level.

I haven't got the game yet, so I'm just guessing, but could it be that it's just a glitch for the "X" or a misprint in the game and the Inca Temple that's on your map is supposed to be the Aztec temple you want to find? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

North, (or maybe North West <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/oops3.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:ops2" border="0" alt="oops3.gif" /> ) of Vera Cruz was where Tenochtitlan, the Aztec capitol, was situated. Where was the Inca city? <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":keith" border="0" alt="keith.gif" />

Just for that, I bet you didn't know the Incas' had a national anthem, every time they got ready for battle you could hear them singing,

I remember a few maps like that in Betatesting. (yes, <b>that</b> was a reported bug)

I've also just recieved a complete map again with no `X-marks`-`the-spot` on, tried looking around a bit, but found nothing. This is also a map to one of the fabled lost treasures.

It has a shoreline and some landmarks and the landmarks are accurate to the "real world" and even has a nifty reef with the name matching at the shore, but still no X.

Tried climbing a hill to spot the site, no luck...

This is my 2nd lost city in my first game, I might start another game soon and if the same thing happens with lost city map #2 there might be a bug?!?!?!?!
 
call me stupid or annoying, but how can mark a HIDDEN city or a LOST treasure with an X if they are hidden and lost. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

Jimmy Durante is all I can think of when I read the last line. Is there something else, perhaps a movie? The first part sounds familiar. My first `knee-jerk` reaction was Ace Ventura, but I am not sure thats it.

Ah, that's the Flood or Spam protector - forums like these often get hit by fools who repeatedly post the same thing - just to be prankish. That safeguard is in place so that someone bent on mischief in spamming the boards will become discouraged when they find out they can't do it quickly. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

I have also had a map with no X.
I wept for my missing sister.
Then I channeled my sorrow into rage and took it out on an Indian War Canoe that was passing by.
Catharsis.
 
The different daughters I got the map from said different lost tribes (I think) one said aztec and maybe the other said inca or something, can't remember...would that be a clue?
 
Here´s my explanation:

I had the same problem, but just because I already found this Lost Aztec treasure once before !!

You might get these map a second time (e.g. from a gouvernors daughter) again, though you already found the tresure and thatßs the reason why there is no X on the map, because there is no more treasure <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Now I´ve got the mug walking through the Pampa near Vera cruz. I have also a map with no X. Hope I´ll find my lost sister soon. I know that all asking won´t help me cause it´s random.
