What is the best age to retire? and more questions.

I'm currently 36 years old, with poor health. What age should i retire at? i did almost everything, just to find 3 more cities and treasure or two.
Another question, let's say i did everything i can on 30 age, then retire. Then with a new character i do everything i can on 35 age, then retire. With what character i'll get the biggest score? The first or the second, or the same score with both?
Another question. I have 9/10 in romance, and i already got merried. What do i need to do to get 10/10, get another wife?

I don't think you can get another wife, but you might need to woo another couple ladies to get that romance score up to 10.

Typically, the younger you are and the better your health is, the better it is for your retirement. When given the choice to retire at 30 years old in fair health, or at 35 in poor health, all things being equal, it's better to retire at 30. Make sense? I know, clear as mud, right?

I'd say that your 30 year old character will probably get better points...

If you're in poor health at 36, retire, and start again and see if you can do better next time. That's the beauty of the game, you can always start over and have fun getting there again... And it'll be a whole new experience next time! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/onya.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="onya.gif" />

Retire? Never. If i won't be able to wield a sword, i'll fight with me walking stick (heavily modified by an old buccaneer whom i met in Ye Olde Prosthesis Shoppe). And i'll teach my parrot some moves. He'll do just fine. I'll load the cannon with me own teeth (bought from the same old buccaneer) and they'll bite everyone on a twenty feet radius. Aarghh!
 
My guy is starting to get old, but I won't let him retire, he has too many english dogs to run thru to retire right now.
