What sword do you use?

I always use the rapier, it seems that speed is by far the best thing to have.

Yeah i go with the rapier to, seems as you never really need to block..

I use the set of perfectly balanced swords I bought off some traveler.

How do you change swords?

Before the battle it will ask you if you want to use the Rapier, the longsword or the cutlass. They seem to have minor differences with the rapier being the fastes. Speed seems to be the only important thing in this game.

That's weird. I don't get the option to choose swords in my game.

The cutlass of course, any real pirate's choice.

Never mind. I was playing in the lowest difficulty level. Changed that and now I have a choice of swords.
