Where do i start?

Im brand new to Age of Pirates 2 (yay xmass) and to this forum. Im wondering if some one could point out what mods/patches to download first? I heard this game is quite buggy if i dont, and i would like to skip me yelling at the computer lol.

The GoF mod should have everything you need, and more. We've added tons of new content, including many accurate ship models vastly superior to those in the original game.
