Windows 11 - Application Error

Ahoy, mates!
I downloaded the Beyond New Horizons mod and the requirements for it:

• Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables (x64)
• DX9 Runtime (2010)

Unfortunately, the game won't start. It raises the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) error.
Running the program in compatibility mode doesn't help.
Can I run it on modern Windows 11 OS?

At that time vanilla POTC "just works". I was able to install build 14 on top of it.

I am running it on Win 11OS without any significant issues. You need to ensure that you do not install the game into the "program files" directories. Ensure you set up a separate directory on your drive.
