    oh and another thought - when you go to the map screen on leaving khael roa, you're stuck in the bay inside the island. would it be worth adding code that puts you outside the bay? (this goes for all islands, i suppose, not just khael roa).

    just added: - reinit.c code for catalina's fbq quest - so it only requires a reinit, not a new game. - buildsettings.h toggle to toggle the extra sounds (such as 'land ho' and the anchor sound etc etc.

    do a search through the program folder for Log_SetStringToLog (you'll get LOTS of hits!). you could find all the ones you want to get rid of, and add an if statement around each one, something like <b>if(LOGSTOGGLE == 1) { ... }</b>. that way the text will only be shown if the player sets logs...

    btw have you managed to get them to appear with pictures on the `gun-buying` display? you <i>could</i> go even further and add loads and loads of gun types - spanish cannons, english cannons, brand new cannons, old cannons... or we could change the whole way it works, like nathan's new ships...
