Bartolomeu Quest

Indeed it'd be great if some proper bug-finding would be commenced for Alpha 8.
We really need a PROPER INVENTARIZATION of everything that's wrong.
You can use the 'ol Bug Tracker for it.
Has anyone heard from Pirate_KK recently?

I found this quest the most appealing, you know, starting with nothing at all.
When I stood before the closed door to the town, I though wow, <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> he’s even not letting you enter the city, so searched every bush, tried to climb the walls, even cut the shark in pieces to find any secret key. Butt…It was just another A8 bug. Just had to save and load to get my command bar again. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:ops" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Anyhow I gave up on this build. Not one quest is playable and I really tried everything. So back to the stock game, and hopefully the build13 final!

Yeah Pieter, there is serious bug-fixing needed (cause B14A8 has real potential). I cannot help much cause I’m no programmer and as a user I am unable to even start the game without CTD’ing or other weird things.

You should be able to play through at least the Hornblower, Devlin and Jack Sparrow quests as far as completed. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
If those don't work, you might have forgotten to delete the PROGRAM folder during the installation process.
 
Very possible, Thomas. The KK-only version worked pretty well and so did the Maximus-only version.
Maximus said he had some fixes to submit, but that was over a month ago and still nothing's uploaded.
