    No, I'm playing the default Hawk one I think, and I'm already an enlisted officer in the English Navy. No letter of marque is an option. I'm just doing the storyline and I just never seem to get promoted. :(

    i'm playing the latest build mod, and it says in green text "Midshipsman" and according to the interface, that means I can be promoted, but how exactly do I get promoted? I tried to going to the English governors but none of them offered the option. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    Adding New Cheats

    The debugging keys are somewhat useful. You can teleport through the ingame menu to any location, along with your ship. I wouldn't recommend teleporting your ship inside buildings. It has...undesirable effects :P I haven't really tried going anywhere with it. Something of a pain to remember...
