    Missing Treasure Fleet after a 1660 capture.

    Its a known Barmaid bug. She repeatedly tells u that the treasure fleet is whereever she told u it was the first time. It never sems to get updated. u will however run into the fleet by accident somewhere during your game. Steve

    I believe i read somewhere that u are invincible during any career for the first sea battle. i think they did it so new players wouldnt get instantly toasted. have u tried a second battle? or just 1? Steve

    halo

    what u are seeing is the spinning circles that represent u having been dizzied during the duel. it doesnt happen all the time and is perfectly normal and part of the game. being dizzy makes u a bit slower on the response time while it lasts. Steve

    yes mike, i've seen that too. slow motion fades between screens and slow motion combat. ihave to say tho, in my experience it corrects itself. it doesnt happen very often to me. but i have 1 gb ram so perhaps i just postpone it longer? Steve

    just a thought about the audio lock ups. have u tried running dxdiag and dropping the audio acceleration for direct x, to see f that helps at all? it helped a lot of us when trying to run EQ2 with sound stutter problems. Steve

    for some bizarre and so far unexplained reason the game will not let u pick either level or era first time thru after installation. so what u do is let it run thru the start game process. then when appear on the map hit "fleet status" then "system options" then "abandon game" (NOT quit game)...

    to find your video card manufacturer try RIGHT clicking on an empty part of your desktop. then: >properties >settings >advanced >adapter this will hopefully list your graphics card/on board chipset. Steve

    Computer Crashes with my GeForce..

    guys i am running a geforce 4200 ti 64mb card with 53.03 drivers. absolutely NO CRASHES EVER and only a couple of EXREMELY limited graphic glitches that may be driver or game programming faults. Steve

    The game crashes when I try to start it

    just an outside chance here, but is a 32mb graphics card enough for a direct x9 game? I think possibly a 64mb card would be a minimum for dx9 requirements. as i say. no definite statements, just a feeling. Steve
