is the 'surrender' bug fixed? my game crashed everytime a pirate surrendered to me <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

cant wait to play, on 82% now
 
As far as i can tell by some of the testers it should be fixed however if anyone still discover bugs or problems then please let me know. We are also setting up a new support forum and there you will also be able to give feedback etc or simple here in this thread. The support forum will be up between now and 2 weeks so a little patient please.
 
Cyberops.....Many thanks tew ye matey fer doin this fine thing. I was especially beholdin tew ye after yew replied tew me CTD post earlier. Hope you still fine those files that I so urgently need. Were they in the patch? How come they were not present in MY NEWLY BOUGHTEN GAME in the first place....Just one more Nail in Akella/Playlogic's Coffin tew be sure. I actually went out and bought half a game.....can you believe that!!! Sure is a long way from the days of the Amiga when you paid little and got a superior product....now we pay dearly and get Shitz!!........... Anyway I digress, Once again many thanks tew ye for this fine project. And please if yew here about those still missing files let me know, but am hoping dearly that I wont need them any longer.

As of right now with my experience with AOP/POTC, I think with this new stuff ported to The Build for POTC we would be better off.....there is little to show improvement for that final Pirate Simulation thatt we all crave and are waiting for, but time will tell

Officerpuppy: Yew may not know this mate....but have enjoyed some of your other offerings over the years for other games, most notably Imperial Glory. So I'll ask yew this question Matey....yew can't download this patch/mod from Cyberops without major problems? If NOT maybe we should burn off a copy and mail it to ye.....if'n that is tew yer liken! I am in Nova Scotia, Canada...but maybe someone closer will be willing tew help as well.....speak up Matey and we will see what can be done....Alright!

Cyberops...thanks for the new download....I wish I could say things are better. I had to go back a while in my saves, the last ones didnt work......now it crashes again, and continues to look for more files that I do not have.....this is almost Criminal Negligence on someones part......I can not believe that I paid good money for something so bug ridden and not finished. I cant believe I am the only one who has had this problem...there must be people going nuts all over this planet.....I am usually very understanding about Games and Programs, knowing they can be problematic......But this is Downright Scarey

Was/Is there more to that Patch that I needed? Do I dare install it, to attempt to get the files I need.....!

P.S. I even looked through POTC, hoping to find those files with the same name, I am almost that desparate
 
Did u install the supermod on top of a fresh install, and be sure to start a new game u can not continue a saved game after installing the mod, it simply will not work.
 
OH....okay, I installed your first mod over fresh brand new install just yesterday.....I was sure I read somewhere here where you stated the new mod 1.1 could just drop over the older 1.0 one......sorry, there is that "assuming" thing again. Crap!!!

P.S. Where did you find those extra files my first attempt was looking for? And wouyld it do any good to send you another error log.....seems I am missing a lot of files.....or are they ones that are supposed to be generated in game and are not???
 
u should have every file needed, so that is the strange part. However u can indeed install this 1.1 mod over the older 1.0 version. But u still need to start a new game for all bug fixes and changes to take effect. Simple delete your old profiles and start a new profile and game and it should run just fine.
 
OKies......many thanks Matey. Thats what I will do.....Still......when I looked for the new files that error could not find...those files wee still not present. I could get real tired of this after awhile. Shame, but still think maybe there might be possiblities here with this game....but only in the future
