how do u get new ship appearance? please im been looking for days on how to get new ones

Which version of the game are you playing?
The most common way to change a ship's appearance in Build 14 is to go to a shipyard and select the 'Appearance' tab. There, you can choose a different paint scheme for your ship (note: some ships only have ONE paint scheme).
However, this is not possible in the original game, where the only way to change it is to buy/capture a new ship.

How do you get new ships to appear? Sometimes they can be bought at a shipyard, but the most common way to get a new ship is to capture it at sea.
