Try a reinit. If that doesn't work, start a new game. I hope somebody will be able to test my file soon. I tested myself and I KNOW at least the Qucik Equip [F] key is working properly now. I have not tested boardings.

I Did all that and do a new game!
You know during the tutorial start in Oxbay.
I have not used the 'F' button later in the game. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

So is it working? Both the [F] key and the boarders using firearms?

Pieter, All buttons from 1(leaving out 2) to 9 work later in the game,
but I find the '2' does only give me a cannot find error. The 'F' button
only gives the sword, spyglass and the error gun not available.
I tried the button at Douwesen during the quest of finding the silver under the Waterfall.

Are you sure you are actually using my fix? Also: Did you start a new game or press during your savegame? I have tested this and everything works entirely properly with my fix.

I normaly do new game, the Oxbay Tutorial talking to Malcom
and follow his instructions up to getting things out of the box
and than use the shortcut,which behave as before.
Maybe I'm missing something? I use beta2. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />

You should download the initItems file that I attached several posts before and extract that to PROGRAM\ITEMS. Then press during your savegame or start a new game.
