Build 12 status update - architects please read!

1) In WinXP, doubleclick on My Network Places.

2) Doubleclick Add Network Place.

3) Select "Choose another network location".

4) Enter <a href="ftp://ftp.pirateahoy.net" target="_blank">ftp://ftp.pirateahoy.net</a>

5) Uncheck "log on anoymously" and enter files@pirateahoy.net as username.

6) Type a name for the shortcut such as "Pirates Ahoy FTP".

7) Enter pirateahoy as password.

6) Onct ye successfully login, a shortcut be appearin' in My Network Places, which ye kin use next time.

7) Just drag an' drop between yer ftp session window an' a regular Windows Explorer session.

Hey, sorry I have been gone for a while, but I have a major project going into production this weekend. Work is crap, but until someone wakes up and realizes how much they pay me, I have to keep busting hump.

Did anyone help integrate the new ships I made? Can I get someoen to help me on this?
 
Sir Christopher, wordy is no problem - clarity is the problem, and we need someone to explain clearly (which I think you should be able to do, most admirably!) what the mods are about and what they do.

Are there any new dungeons planned ? I wouldn't mind making more maps. Maybe even towns or whole islands ?

Alan Smithee was working on some catacombs, but it hasn't progressed to the point to be able to include it in Build 12, however, Screwface set up Khael Rhoa so that you can land on it prior to the end of the Main Quest, and also access it after you have completed the Main Quest. and he added new sections including some caves and catacombs. (He took the caves and catacombs from other parts of the game, they're not new.)

Sir Christopher, I've dropped a note to RobC about his Blacksmith mod - hopefully we'll hear from him soon, regarding info on how things work &tc...
 
Ah got an email back from RobC, his life is running at an outrageous pace these days so it's difficult for him to find time to pop in here to say hello. I hear that about real life, it does tend to throw the timetables off.
The Readme is well on its way, i've managed to organize all of the Build 11 information into the tables I was talking about and I'm putting in the information for the new mods. I'm thinking I'll have the draft ready for somone to look at by the end of the week. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

Installer Testing

I'm recruiting testers for the Build 12 installer, and you were among the first to pop inot me mind, mate. Interested? It's a full install that includes the Build 11 code, and has a nicely functioning uninstaller to boot.
