Solved Cannot repair cannons falling out

I don't know whether I lack knowledge of a shipyard feature or it is a bug, but I cannot replace cannons that fall out. I can sell all my cannons, and buy new ones, it makes no difference. It greatly weakens the ship against forts, problematic for the last mission. How do I replace cannons that fall out?

I have done that too. The procedure must be followed exactly or nothing gets done.
Buy the cannons you want and then go to the screen where your cannons are and "remove all". Then select the ones you want to install and "install all". Make sure the ones you want are moved into location on the ship. Then click "OK".
I keep forgetting to click "OK" before exiting that screen.

Too bad AOP2 when it comes to missing cannon it can't imediatly replace the cannon when you repair your ship like Pirates Of The Caribbean.

It is a bit odd. I had played the other games, and paying to a full repair, sorted the ship.
