8) In keeping with the "Tyrant" tradition of extra large ships, I would like to announce
the launching of the latest in the series; the 136 gun "Tyrant III". Yes when I release it
to the public for testing it will have 136 functioning guns (4 + 62 + 62 + 8 ). I am also
considering releasing a 100 gun version that would show 36 of the gun ports closed and
have more cargo space instead of the extra guns. This would be for those who don't
want such a powerful ship, or would like to do some heavy duty trading. Never the
less, all Tyrant 3's will be initially fitted out with my more realistic 32 pounders.
I have created and completely replaced all textures on the "Manowar Guber" model, with
all new ones; with the only exceptions being the scales and angel wings of the figurehead.

The T3 and the other `Man-O`-War classes in PotC appear as Behemoths, and here is why:
By my calculations; if these were real ships, this would put their dimensions at 262.5 ft
between the perpendiculars, 72.2 ft moulded beam, by 27.2 ft depth in the hold, with an over
all length of 334.6 ft, and I calculated them to be about 4791 burthen tons. By comparison the USS
Pennsylvania, which was the Largest sailing warship ever built; dimensions were 210 ft
between the perpendiculars, 56.9 ft moulded beam, by 23 ft depth in the hold, with an over
all length of 245 ft, and was about 3100 burthen tons. To build such a huge ship in the early
17th century (1600's) would have been an extraordinary achievement to say the least!! It's
almost as if Akella read all those posts and stories about the "Tyrant II", over on the SD
forum?.....................
Here is how these specs compare to a couple of famous ships, that almost everyone
knows.

USS Constitution: ........175.0 pd, 43.6 mb, 14.3 dh, 190.0 oal, 1576 tb.
HMS Victory: ..............186.0 pd, 51.9 mb, 21.5 dh, 226.0 oal, 2493 tb.
USS Pennsylvania: .......210.0 pd, 56.9 mb, 23.0 dh, 245.0 oal, 3100 tb.
Tyrant 3 / PotC MoW: .262.5 pd, 72.2 mb, 27.2 dh, 334.6 oal, 4791 tb.

Please keep a couple of things in mind, while looking at the Tyrant 3 stats.
(1): That just like the Tyrant 2 in Sea Dogs, the PotC Tyrant 3 is supposed to be the Ship you use,
when you had a hard day, and you just want to vent, by blowing the Tar out of stuff, or just open
a Big `Can-o`-Whoop arse on the Archipelago! ;D
(2): That just like the Tyrant 2 in Sea Dogs, the PotC Tyrant 3 is supposed to be a Great challenge
to go after; sort of like the SD/PotC version of searching for the Great white Whale (Moby Dick),
or the Great white Buffalo!! ;D
Also because PotC takes into account the more weight of goods loaded on board, to reduce
performance (Speed and TurnRate). The larger Ships with larger capacities, become real slugs
in the water, very fast when you make use of the extra cargo space.
