Easter eggs

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" /> Machine translation: "Possibly, it to eat. When I will have the capability to verify him." <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

The correct translation would be:

<b>Possibly, it is</b> (an Easter Egg, following the context)<b>. When I will be able to check, I'll do that. </b>

But it's so illiterate, that it seems he wanted to simplify the grammar for a translator and then picked out the text from a wrong window.

<b>2freaker</b>:
Мислех, че българите разбират руски добре. Нашите езици са извлечени от старобългарски и са много сходни.

If you need help with translation or PR interventions <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />, I'm here to help. I also see we have Bulgarians here... I don't speak Bulgarian, but Serbo-Croatian, which is close to it, meaning, I can understand it.

yeah, serbian and bulgarian are really close ones <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

<b>To just-a-guy. </b>You are right, I had troubles with phrase translation and have taken advantage of Google. Not the best choice, this is only suitable for separate words.
<b>To all. </b>We shall discuss linguistics and a theme it is possible to close? Or anybody wants to know as to have "Rat's God" on first level? Possibly most useful Easter Egg in game.

I think I found Cat'sGod(not sure about it). but sold it... If there is really such thing what does it do?

Yes please. I'm not quite clear on how the whole treasure hunting thing works.

You can find the "Rat's God" in the treasure. Guaranteed "Rat's God" exists in CoAS and Tenochtitlan.

But it is not royal road also. It is necessary to hold time in brothel with one (only one) girl 5-6 time, it is possible more. Take your choice the well-wishing girl. Don't leave the island, the girl may disappear. She will talk about treasure.
Remember, that your reputation will fall. In free time you can do that will raise the reputation.

I will try that, thank you.

In other news, the treasure hunting business has worked out splendidly. I've always wanted sixty dead cormorants and enough fireplace irons to equip an army. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Edit: FOUND IIIIIIIIT!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" /> That was easy!
Now... how to mod this to protect not just my ship but the whole squadron?

Dead cormorants could be useful only in the CoAS 1.2.3 HE (and also SLiB). A very good treasure can be found after such treasures.

Dead Cormorants? DEAD CORMORANTS??? I'm pretty sure the PotC Build mod was the first mod to contain those!
Of course the Russian and western modding teams USED to work together and, for example, AlexusB did work on the Build mod in the past too. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

The cormorants and associated with them Easter Egg with ship "Kukuruzina" existed in the version SLiB 1.05.1002. Released 03.10.2005.
--Edited--
It is possible "Kukuruzina" has no importance, but by other Easter Egg with cormorants there are.

I think that the SLiB mod might just contain some of the same stuff of the old Build mod. Back in the early days, there was just the Build mod.
Then at some point, something happened (I don't know what; I wasn't here) and the SLiB mod was started.
If I recall correctly, there was also a Russian Morgan mod for PotC made at that same time.
So as far as I understand things:
1 - Seperate mods by different people, including Russians
2 - Mod installer to create your own modpack version
3 - Build mod including all
4 - Split to SLiB mod + Morgan Mod + Build mod

Or something like that anyway. I wished I really knew what happened in the early days. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

Unfortunately I failed fully to appraise Build. The cause not the possibility to get in main quest because of the absence Russian dialogues. Build 13, the man from Camilo Machado, and continuation. I continued the game in English. But didn't finish...

And subject. It's amazing, but as Easter Egg isn't named the item about which knows absolutely everybody.

I'm not sure if I understand you. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
Indeed the Build Mod doesn't really work properly in Russian. Maximus used to work on a translation to Russian,
but that is rather hard to do while the modpack's not yet finished. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />

Anyway, we can't blame the Russians that they don't make their mods in English, since we've not made our mod in Russian either.
All we could "blame" them for is that they don't make it possible to translate their work into English,
while it is very possible to translate the Build to Russian and part of the work for that is already done. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

What is SLiB??? Sometimes I´m a bit lost on achronyms... maybe too much time out of the pirates games scene...

I understand
PoTC = Pirates of The Caribbean
CoAS = City of Abandoned Ships
SoFS = Secrets of Far Seas (mod for AoP, initially in russian, now in process of translation to english)
1.2.3.HE = 1.2.3 Hardcore Edition (mod for CoAS, russian only at the moment)

.......but this SLiB mod I haven´t heard of it yet

SLiB = Sea Legend is Back. It's a Russian mod for PotC made by AlexusB. Cannot be translated.

Okay, I found this:

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/Sordid/Toltecskull.png" border="0" class="linked-image" />

The mention of "three Toltec skulls" is a reference to this old gem: <a href="http://www.mrbillsadventureland.com/reviews/0-9/3skullsR/3skullsR.htm" target="_blank">http://www.mrbillsadventureland.com/review...sR/3skullsR.htm</a>

When all the 3 of the Toltec skulls are together in you inventory (or in an officer´s of yours inventory) they will give you/him those major stats bonuses... you need the blue one and the pinky-winky
