as the English Frigate ...... here is the newest from me ....
an English Corvette

maybe it should be renamed to frigate as well, since its number of cannons would match a frigate.
would it make it more fun in game as well since it would get slightly harder to identify on distance.
i renamed all warships and above to ship of the line.... i know that the 44 gun ship arent really big enough to be classified in that way, but makes it more fun in the game
 
Quite. There's no such thing as a British 'Corvette'. 'Corvette' was at that time the french name for a small frigate. The British would have called this a 'sixth rate Frigate'. Except that the 'corvette' in POTC isn't even a corvette by French standards. . . IIRC, it has 36 guns, making it a 5th rate in the British system, and a 'Frigate' in the French.

it can be that I am not entirely correct with the ships i made ......
BUT ... those who do NOT like 'em .... just DO NOT download it ....
so simple can it be .......

BUT this is made uppon a request by other potc gamers ...... so I just took the chalence in making it ......

NOW the main thingy for me ... is to implant 'em in the build .....
(and to find a place to put 'em in ..... i'm out of web space on my HP...)
 
I fear you've got me wrong, I'm not criticising your work(It's excellent), I'm just providing historical background. (What exactly is wrong with details?)

well ... I did not intent to make you mad or somethings .......

but if the game should be historical correct .... there is a lot of things we have to make ........

esample is the culverine ..... waz first invented in Carron Scottland 1779
and thats is in game too
and the missing swirvel guns used to stop bording .......
and so on .....

and the merchants .... did they really ALL have a big arsenal like this .....
many ships .... only had a single swirvel gun for protection .... and no cannons ....

so keep posting ........ or lets make a topic for historical correct opp.s

I've ordered a host name and a web space at 125 mb)
