First of all, sorry for my horrible english.

I want to play GoF 2.0 (With last patch). I installed a fresh copy of COAS in my D disk, out of Program files for posible errors, lately i installed GoF full mod 2.0 on that folder and installed the 2 patches.

Start game, all ok. Pick a hero "Antonio" and start a game, i can see all ok (Tryed multiples heros and all start with wind chaser, its normal?) but if i take a ship this cant move. I can have 8 knots and not move 1 cm, if i exit to general map and join a battle the start is good but suddenly all ships cant move on any direction and ships HP its invulnerable.

Try it multiples times without succes, so i deleted all and installed game and GoF 2.0 (This time without the 2 patch) again on another route and launch the game.

    Error continues T_T

┬┐Any idea? Game work fine without mods u.u

This thread has been moved to the correct forum; it was in the PotC section, which is a different game.

I have no clue what could be causing the ships to not move at all. It says the ship is moving at 8 knots but it does not? Can the ship be turned left and right? Can the sails be raised and lowered?

Time compression? That's the only thing I can think of that would technically maintain speed without appearing to.
That's probably not it though either.

The stuttering in POTC that I complain about is also present in GOF2. In one install when there are lots of hostile ships around it actually stops freezes the screen for 1-2 seconds while Fraps shows it running at 52-58 frames per second. I am beginning to suspect that this is related to memory and hard drive usage. Like maybe the page file is being used wrong.

If that problem truly got introduced between PotC Build 14 Beta 3.2 and Beta 3.4,
it cannot possibly be the same problem as in GoF because no code updates applied between Beta 3.2 and Beta 3.4 ever made it into GoF2. o_O

No, it is there in all versions of the Storm engine. It is usually so small as to be un-noticeable, but after POTC 3.3 it got very bad. It is worst in GOF2.5 but sometimes it is there in GOF2 also. So far in the new games I started today in POTC it is almost nonexistent.
