Very good....there are some details that are different, it is looks like the Bounty.....

but i have a question.....why everyone puts a mermaid in the prow? Im not saying it isnt cool, but isnt there any other thing to place in the prow? Anyway, everything is fine, except the mermaid <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
 
actualy there should not be any figure , but i feelt that somethi'n missin

the mermaid is from VCO, the bell/capstans and wheel from the TOOL detailpack right?
 
Cool! How do you intend to arm her? The real bounty had a pitiable armament, wouldn't do in the game.

Is this model to be for AoP or PotC?

The bounty was defined as a frigate in my book about famous ships <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /> But that isn't right at all!

Have you downloaded the help files for Maya yet, think you'll find them realy useful.

any idea's on how many guns should i mount o her ,couse the little 14 number is a bit pathetic <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" />
 
If it's to be what the english called a jackass frigate, between 24-30 guns. Probably 12 pounders

I'd say 16 on her gun deck, 4 on the quarter deck, 2 bow chasers and 2 stern chasers
 
According to what I've been reading, she was a tiny vessel and unrated according to British 'Admiralty' standards. She had at most something like 46 men aboard her and was crowded with that crew.

Looking at the HMS Bounty, i would say only 16 or 20 guns at maximum....

The HMS Bounty wasnt THAT big, was it? I thought it was as big as a brig, maybe even smaller than the HMS Sophie

You know what, i will check this out....the HMS Bounty wasnt a big ship, but 46 souls isnt enough for it, i bet the HMS Bounty could support about 80-90 men aboard
 
Have a look at this wikipedia, which is supposed to be based on historical documentation, including a full list of the ships complement.

And according to the article, she only had 4 guns.

Well, as i said, i would check out about the Bounty and just confirmed what i already knew....

the original Bounty had four 4-pounder cannons and 10 swivels, so a maximum of 14 guns....i dont think it isnt that bad, i already sailed aboard a 10 gunned ship and could sink even frigates <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

the maximum number the ship could have was 210 men very crowded....

What im saying is that the ship is a great ship between the small vessels and should be accurate with the real model ^^
 
Yep, but if I may say, your forecastle seems a bit strange.... It is just TOO flat for the period in which it was build.

The size of the forecastle is correct. Just checked <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />. But the part with the bowsprit is too high, it should be the same size as the forecastle
