Need Help Having a potion using problem now with my game

whenever i try and use a potion now i keep getting this error and my game stops working

Using reference variable without initializing

What storyline are you playing? I remember running into this when playing one storyline, but do not remember which one.

im playing the standard story line

It happened to me in another storyline. Hoist the Colours or the Assassin. This is a rare bug and I suspect a new game is the only cure.
I played on and just did not use that potion. Yes it does make the game more difficult.

okay thanks hylie i guess il just play without potions but oh well it will make the game more interesting
