Interface Project

Pieter, that meens Pieter... Do you have somekind of model for yourself? No? Mightbe someone like to make one?

I've just been using "9JdHol", a Dutch Jack Sparrow who <i>does</i> look respectable. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
<img src="http://s31clan.com/privateftps/pietersmods/images/characters/face_276.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />
Doesn't look much like me, but that's not exactly a bad thing. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/razz.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":razz" border="0" alt="razz.gif" />

Hmm... Looks similar.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
Pieter "Sparrow" Bolean
<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/24.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rofl" border="0" alt="24.gif" />

Boolean: "A value that can be either true or false". <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doff.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":doff" border="0" alt="doff.gif" />
That model was originally made in a series of different Jack Sparrow variations.
Is it just me or does he look a bit overly dashing?
Perhaps I do need a new model; a really ugly one. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />

You choose... Becouse I'll need one per period I gues... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> ... Or mightbe not... Also jeweller... or couple of them... All those could be in NEW islands... so that Also will take some location coding... Right?

Posibly... But I'll also need some command of people... I need to think little more about those thinks... Then I'll officaly will ask for help.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> ... Hope someone will answer <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

I'm quite fine with the model that's used right now. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Go here for Jamaica coats of arms - the earliest seems to be 1875

<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_Jamaica" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_Jamaica</a>

I'm searching something about 17th-18th century... When the Pirates of the Caribbean action begins...

So suggest some names and I will look them up.

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/oops3.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:ops2" border="0" alt="oops3.gif" /> I don't know anny...

(I gues I'll have to figure some cotes of arms by my self...)<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->Don't do that - there are some very SPECIFIC rules regarding coats of arms, and some smart**** will be sure to pick you up on it.
Give me a day and I will suggest some for you. (It just happens to be a hobby of mine)

Agree... will accept all sugestions... But for now, what do you think about what I made for england? It's based on Royal Coat of Arms of that time of UK...

i see. very clever, and very good-looking i might add. could you perhaps add some shine to the emblem to give the illusion of a slightly curved shield? that's difficult though... maybe you can use the interface emblems used at the sides of the logbook.

It isn't hard... It, for realy, is first effect I learned with photoshop... But I don't think that that kind of effect will fit here... I'm not using white color here... All map style is like by pencil or smth like that... I made background and adding black color to it...

Thanks for reply...

Looks pretty good as it is SD. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

I think it looks good too <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

But its the "jack" (national flag) the royal coat of arms looked like this:
<img src="http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii261/Short_Jack_Gold/100px-England_Arms_1405.png" border="0" class="linked-image" />

told you some smart**** would pick you up on it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pirate2.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p:" border="0" alt="pirate2.gif" />
(only joking)
