Solved Ive started a game and cant use the quick save

Ive started a game and ever time i try and use f5 to quicksave i get an error come up saying save failed you can't save without an active profile

if i go to profile i can't click on anything to name it. when i started the game i never input my name and it just says Player.

is there anything i can do to fix this?

I have heard of this before with quicksave, which I never use. Do regular saves work?

Maybe deleting the options file will get it working.

yah regular save works

It is in your POTC folder below the engine.ini. You will have to set your options again.

In game press F1 to open the menu , then click "save" , then click "profile"

Now there is probably a profile selected already so just click "Load" if not there should be your profile on the left side in gold OR grey if it is already selected once you have done that save the game manually once and quicksave should work.

I run into that problem on occasion.
