"Lagging" game

so are you using swiftshader?
and those pc spec's arent that great. maybe that is why? not sure.

swifshader is for intel I have amd.Sounds funny but that problem runs only for Hornblower the rest is ok so it is not system.Smth is not correct inside codes, or texture or etc.I think that's ineteresting.I've read that people complain about Hornblowers story.It is not stable

Ahh. My apologies. You have an "experienced" computer that is in need of a major upgrade. All I can suggest is that you turn down your graphics settings.
Or, you can install POTC Build 13 Final. It is less graphically demanding, so might be a better match for your hardware.

I thought its only for Win 7 and if it works also for XP, where can turn of ffdshow?In general I've soved my problem not playing for Hornblower.It is similiar to problem when it was lagging in the sea.I think I have the same in the city but not in the sea.What did you do to get rid lagging in the seas?maybe it will work for city...

Hylie Pistof Yes.CPu is outdated but that's not a problem.There's something in Hornblowers story because I have no problems with other stories, only with Hornblower.
