BTW: Maybe its out of lazyness or an old discussion put aside. But I´ve never seen anybody mentioning, that Build13_final actually comes with a crack. I no longer need the CD for playing PotC <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I found this on deviantart...
<a href="http://jprart.deviantart.com/art/Captain-Jack-Sparrow-37044292?loggedin=1" target="_blank">http://jprart.deviantart.com/art/Captain-J...4292?loggedin=1</a>

Can't contact artist... Mightbe someone have better luck... I think that image will be great for some loadings...

Thanks Peter. The link to Ivan Aivazovsky's Harbour painting doesn't work though. Could you fix that?
What do you mean by "needs photoshop for enlargement"? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

The Harbour is now fixed. Sorry, pure laziness <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

By enlargement I mean, I am afrid it is not enlarged enough for use in PotC (dunno what size the images have, tho)
I think PS is capable of image-enlargement with little loss because of the many formats, you can switch between.

What images, Captain Patrick? The ones in the onening post are gone; might still have them on my external HD.

Some new reload-screens. Any comments?

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/8q.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":8q" border="0" alt="8q.gif" /> Wow!! Those are spectacular!!

One thing, in the last one from under, the barque in the background is as big as the Three-Deck Victory-like ship!

Wow <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />

some wierd dimensions here and there, but those images are breathtaking. i could ignore the faults in the perspective of the ships.

MAXIMUS! Nice seeing you again! And nice loading screens too! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

Possibly we can use some of those, yes. Thanks.
I was lucky enough to find that DVD for cheap in a store a couple of months ago. Good film. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/me.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":onya" border="0" alt="me.gif" />

I love this movie. i´ve seen it for over 20 years the first time and that brings me to Sid Meiers pirates on my C-64. Good old times.

If you like, I could make some screens for different parts of the game. Below are some samples of banners I've made for another forum I am a part of.

<img src="http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h300/_Commodore_John_Paul_Jones/mow_banner.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />
<img src="http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h300/_Commodore_John_Paul_Jones/mow_banner2b.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

Here are some images that I've used as personal desktops:

<img src="http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h300/_Commodore_John_Paul_Jones/andy-thomas-guerriere_big2.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />
<img src="http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h300/_Commodore_John_Paul_Jones/Randolph.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />
<img src="http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h300/_Commodore_John_Paul_Jones/FlamboroughHead3.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

I like the dark and antiqued look as well as the bright gun flashes. I could give several other ship paintings this look and add little texts to them in the lower right corner like "Loading..." or "Battle!" or "Sea". I even have some paintings of ports that could be used when mooring. But some others such as store or tavern would be harder, as I'd have to find good paintings first.
