While experiencing down time, I got the idea to start work on another ship. There is only one paint scheme for the Light Frigate so I started on it and finished it a few days ago. No new ship stats yet, just the paint job.

I have to wrap up the Lt. Frigate and the Rheims character, <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/type_1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":nk" border="0" alt="type_1.gif" /> and I already started working on another female officer, <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/poet.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hmm" border="0" alt="poet.gif" /> plus I'm still bug testing Pieter's Post B12! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

I will get to it however, as I can see where such a ship could be used in game as the English Pirate's ship, off of FdF, or Shaggy Gary's ship in the Nigel quest! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sailr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sail" border="0" alt="sailr.gif" />

If I could only figure out how?

I'm trying to change the shiptype Ethilrede Claar, AKA Shuggy Garry, uses so I can see what changes work ... but I can't! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

Made changes first in "TempQuestCharacters.c" but now, do I have to start a new game and play all the way up the Nigel quest again?

It's not that easy as you have to go all the way through the Oxbay liberation first so it's not like you can just use POTCModHelper to start in a different location.
And will everyone else be forced to start a new game as well?

Then I thought about adding to the "Reinit.c" but (I really don't now what I'm doing) I'm not getting that to give Shuggy a different ship, before he is encountered, on re-initialization, either! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

I'm trying to do this so only Shuggy gets this ship.

You are using this on a not newly started game, right? You did reinit though, didn't you?
Maybe the "ch.Ship.Stopped = true;" line need to be in reinit.c too?

I kind of thought that was just a new texture for the MoW model, for Silehard's ship.

(Not that this is a big contribution to the board but I feel like it's been weeks since I've poked my little mole's head above the surface of the earth.)

Actually I thought Sielhard was supposed to get the new model MOW "Manow50_gub", which is the MOW Gub but with not only a new paint job but different stats.
