Not really the right topic, but...

Mings - thanks. It has been a long, long week. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Poor sleep, a lot of worrying... It is so easy to have 20/20 hindsight when it comes to backups. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />

What sauce would you recommend then? Funky chunky spunky sauce perhaps works with monkey? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/william.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":will" border="0" alt="william.gif" />

Greetings, Pieter, and thank you for all that information! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ty" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

My computer - alas, no news until possibly later today (early morning now) or tomorrow. Then it is of course the matter of how much it will cost and how long it will take, but I hope to hear that my drives survived. At least I would be able to relax then...

PotC CD is a goner - but they had Potc at a cheap price not too far from here, so I got new CDs - I used those above, to install it. Alas, I barely had a chance to play before the PC died. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Well, as long as I get my PC back, I can convert the sounds, yes. On this old laptop I have nothing...

That would be good.... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huhh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":eek:k" border="0" alt="huhh.gif" /> I was thinking the monkeys might themselves prefer something like vodka, whisky or rum, but I haven't conferred with them as yet. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/monkeydance.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mi" border="0" alt="monkeydance.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/buds.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":drunk" border="0" alt="buds.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/monkeydance.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mi" border="0" alt="monkeydance.gif" />

Braving the danger of invading another person's thread: Might I suggest <i>Monkey Gland Sauce</i>. I cannot confirm the presence of actual monkey glands in such sauce, and indeed my question of whether the chef used fresh or tinned monkeys was not particularly well received by the waiting staff when last I ate at this particular establishment. A thought nonetheless.

Hmm, I wanted sauce to go with the monkeys, not saucy monkeys... And I prefer hot chocolate to spirits myself. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/danse1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dance" border="0" alt="danse1.gif" />

I've dined with enough apes and monkeys not to try that again... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/razz.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":razz" border="0" alt="razz.gif" />

Hmm, you mean, really <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/danse1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":dance" border="0" alt="danse1.gif" /> use the monkey to its fullest, eh? Possibly. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />
