Its very hard finding good 100MB web space hosts <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> (free ones), better not download from my PC cuz after i cheged my log....... lots of timeouts(becouse of my slow net). Any way, when i get the movie up i'm gonna post. About the english, make sure you have installed patch v1.1 (i read that patch 1.3 is out but can't find it in www.akella.com/k3/ ).
 
Ravenheart , I suggest you would do somthing about the size of your movies . A zip or RAR format for instance would be nice . Prehaps try to screw back the quality of the video .

Also prehaps you could ask someone who's intrested in this to publish it ( hooked on AOP ?), but I would make sure it's not bigger than let us say 30 MB , beacouse ppl arn't really going to download your movie now : download time is estemated at 25 hours ..

Could you also prehaps post some screenshots ? alsot of free hosts in this catagory here mate !

I planned to buy AOP asap when West version coming out, but I'm afraid that I've too much expectations from this game.

Please, can who had already play this game and prior POTC explained what are the differents in the gameplay between the two games.

I would want to know if new random mission are implemented (and what are news compared with POTC+Build12+ModPack) and if still there is a storyline and related quest.

well , AOP should have an gameplay more in the direction of sea dogs again(that was akella's first pirate game of the serrie's POTC acctualy was Sea dogs 2 be4 disney bought it ) , with POTC ellements implented in it .

overall this means that you'll be more out of sea again instead of being on land ..

I havn't got the game yet, beacouse I'm also w8ing for the game to be released in the west too ...

If you liked either POTC or Sea dogs , I would suggest you buy it . If you're still hesitaing I would suggest you buy Sea dogs first (should be more expencive like 5-10€ )and wait for the big gamesite's reviews (gamespot, gamespy ect)

I didn't wanna cut the quality of the movie so hope you don't mind it being 85MB... or i will have to do some recoding again <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Oh, it's very different. There is no inland.

There was no inland in Sea Dogs and that was just fine. Pirate games are about sailing and naval battles, smuggling and trading, not land exploration. And many people didn't like that inland in PotC, and Sea Dogs fans asked to remove inland in the next pirate game.
 
Only crazy people ask to remove the inland part. And people who haven't played the mods. Any game or simulation that claims to even remotely represent the Golden Age of Piracy needs to include land actions, such as intercepting overland treasure shipments and the sacking of towns. Examine the exploits of Drake, Morgan, Exquemelin, Dampier, the Lafitte's, the buccaneers in general, etc. You will find just as much exciting and important action occurred on land as on sea.

Like Captain Python has correctly pointed out so many times before, don't expect historical accuracy out of games. So much for being able to sack Panama and Puerto Principe (which could only be done by overland action, back in the day...) <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" />
 
Can anyone tell me if they have those lights on the end of the yardarms of ships? And if they do, is there any way to deactivate it?
