I'd like to make an little article on the addition of the United States in the Build mod, but of course the Constitution would need to be a part of the article so I'm not going to make such an article until she's done. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" /><!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

if we assume that everything goes smoth should be tomoorow or the next day <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
and for those adittional rathlines can always ship them (since we cant even climb up there anyway <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />k )

Sounds brilliant! Not sure what you mean by "shipping the ratlines". <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

sorry i meant skipping them <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="xD:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Did someone say vant?

The vant locators set the positioning of the shrouds with ratlines included as one piece.
It looks like you placed separate shroud lines.
The games vant system would be easier to use as only 3 points defines each shroud/ratline assembly.

As for cannon, the scale model of the Constitution I have shows two chasers at those aft ports with the center one empty.

ok now ill need some advice should i replace those long guns with corronades and should i place those 2 aft chasers ???? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

That does look a bit too full; I'd say either remove the stern chasers or the side guns in front of the stern chasers as per your original intent. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yes" border="0" alt="yes.gif" />

Looks good to me. You can choose yourself whether you want the stern chasers or side guns; she's your ship. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
Or maybe someone else has some input too. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

No, that is not the way to go although the remedy might not be easy.

At, least as my model has it, the guns do not block each other, except if they were both worked at the same time.

The stern chasers should be moved slightly to the center. That means moving the gun ports and making them a little narrower as well.

It's a litle blury but I just took this pic to show what I mean.

[attachment=2587:gun3.jpg] how abaut now ????
i could also scale them down a bit [attachment=2588:gun4.jpg]

The last one looks fine. The gun barrel of the Carronade is mounted on a slide. The slide sits atop of the (for lack of a better name) pivot table. The slide does not extend beyond the back of the table when the weapon is fully recoiled. So even in the original setup the guns should not interfere with each other.

(puts reality hat on, jumps up on high horse)
Carronades are a short range weapon. Historically long guns were used as chasers, specifically the long 9.

(Put on game hat)
I think they look great.

she's up and sailin ull find her on the ftp <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sailr.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":sail" border="0" alt="sailr.gif" />

Beautiful! She does look a lot better with those white sails too! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/w00t.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":woot" border="0" alt="w00t.gif" />

Is it just me or is this actually the first ship in PotC that is hard to sail? She hardly manoeuvres on low speeds and when you finally got her to turn, she won't quickly get on a straight course anymore. This means you actually need to get a feel for the ship and you need to have some skill in sailing her. Is this intentional or is my game version playing up? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

u can always increase the turn rate if is that hard ,as for intentional or is your game version playing up dont know

I set her as the starting ship of the Master and Commander quest. I couldn't actually sail towards the open sea without bumping into the land though. Can you please try doing that yourself and see if you get her out without hitting anything?

but i had her set like that for testing and sometimes had a near hit with clifs but somehow managed to get her out

LOL! Well, that does prove that it wasn't by game version playing up. She IS hard to sail. Which isn't such a bad thing, really. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
