Yeah I meant license, wrote the wrong thing my bad. I did what you suggested, but the only difference that resulted is that the sentry presented me with a warm welcome instead, but it did not change the fact that the native Americans were still missing. I'm starting to figure that it's another game's bug, because I clearly remembered I met them in my earlier visit when I talked them before into selling me pearls illegally in a nearby shore, but I chose not to apparently. When I came back months later, they have vanished into thin air.
As for the killing the sentry, double-barrelled guns should suffice.
