Not for me, I'm afraid. I don't quite understand why it does work for you. Can you download any of the files on there?
 
It doesn't happen often; usually it's pretty stable. But occasionally it happens.
 
Good news: I just tested my site again and it seems to work fine again. Why it suddenly started working again, I do not know, but I don't mind... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
 
And it's down again. Seems to be the same problem as last time. I'll keep you updated.

Excuse me, folks. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hi.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":gday" border="0" alt="hi.gif" /> . I seem to be up the creek without a paddle. I downloaded several files from you guys: Return of The Sea Legend, as well as Build 13 and the Russian mod for Return of the Sea legend, if I remember correctly. Since then, many things happened: I spent some time overseas (In Iraq to be exact), lost my computer, along with all of its files. Would you be kind enough to point me as to where am I to download all those things again.

Have a look on the PotC Build FTP. You can find the login information <a href="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10288" target="_blank">here</a>. Most files are still available there. Also <a href="http://mods.moddb.com/9269/potc-build-mod/downloads/" target="_blank">this</a> page seems to have several files available.

Hey, folks. I have red about some 12-18 lbs breech loaded cannons from about 15-17th century. Here is a kick, for you. Is there a way to create such a cannon and put it into the ship?
By the same manner, I have come accross the info about revolver flintlock pistols. (usually 4 shots), is it possible to create such things for the game?
If so - then how?


Oh, Herr Peiter, thanx for bringing the site back, but none of the downloads are available from there. If I try to download it just says "File not available"

Ah. Thanks for telling me. That's because the links are not updated. I'll get to fix that at some point, but I don't know when because I'm busy with other things (school) today. Copy the download link and add the "privateftps/" part into there and it should work just fine. Otherwise most files are also available from <a href="http://www.pafiles.com/build" target="_blank">http://www.pafiles.com/build</a> .

the quad-barrel pistols alread excist in-game. but as i noticed, the barrels are too short. BTW he's dutch, not german. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

i've had this game since day one...i'm new to the forums and the mods here
i'm blown away with what everyone has done here excellent work...
i thought i would share with you some info on a great file hosting/storage site i use.
you may have heard of it [mediafire] if so then scratch this post...

Thats bad if its not working because only Pieter's website has Build Mod installments with some fixes and his PB Modifications included. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
 
<a href="http://games.moddb.com/252/pirates-of-the-caribbean/downloads/" target="_blank">Mod DB</a> has the files you need, unless you want the alpha 8-files, that I would not recommend, as they still are full of bugs, making the build 14a8 almost unplayable.

Believe me, You will do fine with the Build 13
