    Hello,
I recently installed POTC on my win7 computer, since I really wanted to play it again.
It all worked fine, until I went to the menu in-game.
For example, when I try to equip 'bombs' instead of 'cannonballs' in the ship cargo menu, it does it really slowly. And by slowly I mean 1 minute to change to 'Bombs'. Like it's lagging or something. This is the same for my Inventory or Trade book. Just everything where you can use the right and left 'arrows' to change things. The weird thing is, the music just continues like normal and other options are smooth aswell. No lagging in the gameplay or whatever. I really don't know how to fix this, since there is no like real error or something.
I already tried to install the game again and in a different place, but the same problem appears everytime.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
    Thanks in advance

I don't use any modpacks. Just took the game from my closet and installed it haha.
Ty for the reply, I will try that now.
