problems build 14 alpha 9.5

I have a problems with restarting a saved game. On build 14 alpha 9.5 patch 1
Build 13 works perfectly, but if I stop and load another saved game or just completely stop the game and continue playing another saved game then the last quest with i was playing freezes. I think?? I can do everyhing just the quest don't updates anymore, and this happens by all the storylines. If i'm playing the game and load another saved game, I also can't start a new game anymore, I have to quit the game completely and restart it for starting a new game.. I have Vista, the game is not installed in the C programs folder, I removed the all the folders before installing the build 14 alpha 9, I installed everthing how it is asked and recommended .. So I ask you Wath can be the problem??? Because other wise I have to play the game with a new story and playing it straight to the end in one time???

By not being able to load save games do you mean from the same storyline your playing or from different storylines?
As for the new game not being able to load. This is meant to happen. I'm pretty sure all the character names get stuffed up if you do load another new game. To bypass this problem you do just have to:
- Close the game
- Open the game
- Start a new game

It might be similar with loading game. Say your playing Jack Sparrow and want to play a "New Horizons" that you have saved.
try:
- Closing the game
- Open the game
- Load the savegame

Captain Maggee is correct about not being able to start a new game.
That is intentional, because if you DO start a new game, things get messed up.
Closing the game, restarting it and THEN starting a new game solves that problem.

There is no such limitation on loading savegames though and in fact I am not aware of any specific problems coming from that either.

No the problem is that the quest doesn't continue if I load a saved game.. For example: I'm playing the game, do , for example the quest of jack sparrow where you have to go repport on the brotherhood that you get the broken compas, so I save the game and quit for sleeping or something else.. The next day or something <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> I reload the saved game and the do the next quest, but if I finished the quest it doesn't updates anymore to the next quest.. almost every time.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> if I restart a new game i don't have any problems untill i load a saved game, then the last quest just freezes, I can play the remaining quest; for example I'm playing young jack sparrow and go to dia lama for the compas, i save and quit the game, when i'm resume my saved game and go to Christopher Mintz for the next quest of brotherhood.. then he tells me what my next quest is, but I doesn't update, I transport outside in front of Mintz door, but it doesn't update, so I can't contiue the game actually.. and this is the problem in every storyline.. this really really sucks <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> because I like his game and updates especially, the legend of jack sparrow. I searched different forums and site's but found also nothing similar .. So .. what can be the problem here????

You will need to go back to Guadeloupe and find a package that is meant for Beckett <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

The quest is indeed over and is supposed to be
 
uhu, I did that quest, but that wasn't the problem. after that quets you have to go talk to Captain Petros on the plantation, I think I played it by the book <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> but the gameplay isn't the problem, the problem is that the quests freezes almost every time I load the game, and this happens every time I load a saved game, where or when in a storyline doesn't matter.. I have to play to storyline straight to the end in one time or else my quest freezes.. I can save the game and quit, but if I restart a saved game, any saved game, the quest freezes.. even even if i try to play a saved game that I did on the same storyline on the same day, and I load that game, the quest that then have to be done, freezes also, and i did that quest earlier...
 
What I would suggest is to wait for Build 14 Alpha 9.5 Patch 2 to be released (some time in the next few days) and install that and see if that fixes your problem...

Again about the quest problem <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> when i'm playing the legend of jack sparrow with the new patch :)the quest stops pdating when you have to go find capyain petros. when you moore your ship you can go with backup or without, but when i'm in prison or i'm with captain petros it doesn't update.. everything else is fine.. maybe this helps for an answer

I have been having an issue on the Jack Sparrow storyline, Brotherhood quest where the questbook does not update. I can still do the quest, but must consult the walkthrough if I forget where to go.

I searched for "questbook" in my "Pirates of the Caribbean" folder and opened the "Brotherhood" file in the Jack Sparrow questbook folder. I opened it on notepad and the last text is t19=I have found Couch Captain Charles, now to return him to the Brotherhood at Petros' plantation on #sisland_Guadeloupe#.
T20=empty

I am passed that point in the storyline but the questbook in game has not updated since.
Please inform about how to restore this missing content.
